Karen Davidsen

Hailing from Prague and Stockholm, Karen is a director who likes to explore a broad field of subjects and create films with a cinematic look and stories that touch audiences. She’s very detail-oriented, and as a melomaniac she firmly believes that music sets the course and tone of any commercial - and is therefore of utmost importance.

After assisting directors on feature films, she studied film at Kulturama, Stockholm Academy of Film and Photography in Stockholm. Before deciding to fully concentrate on directing, Karen also played a key role at a leading advertising agency as an Account Manager. The experience she gained has proven to be a valuable asset in balancing and understanding creativity, budgets and customers’ needs.

When she’s not filming, Karen is most likely to be found on the tennis courts or playing guitar.
